Breeding Jack's

All of our miniature donkey jack's are registered with wonderful extended pedigree's. They all have excellent conformation, color, and personalities. We breed for excellence and our miniature donkey jack's have the quality we want  to pass on to their miniature donkey foals. Our miniature donkey breeding Jack's are well loved and cared for here on our farm.

We love Roper for all his qualities. He is just plain beautiful. We did not intend to purchase him. We drove all the way to Sunset Acres from Washington State to pick up our little Sunset Acres Micro Brew that we had purchased. When we got there we were met by a darling little red foal named Red Roper. Roper was the darkest red we had ever seen. We decided that Micro Brew needed a buddy to travel with and grow and play with so we purchased him as well. Roper is closely related to several of our donkey's and we knew when we purchased him that we would probably part with him at some point. We just don't have enough girls to breed him to. We will probably put him up for sale in the summer of 2012. We have one baby coming from him in August. We will decide when we see the baby what to do. We were surprised he could get the job done at such a young age but he did. This will be a tough one to part with. We will want him going to a great farm when he leaves us. He is well cared for here and we want the same for him when he leaves.

 Bandito has the nicest foals. Many people request his babies. His foals are outstanding  with great big eyes, perfect bites, and wonderful conformation, and they all have his outstanding personality. You He is such an easy to handle Jack who is so kind to the mommy's and babies. I never can view them on Banitios Page. worry about him hurting any of the foals. We have kept two of his little girls so we will probably sell him at some point. That is if we can part with him. He is such a love that he makes a great pet even as a breeding Jack. please contact us if you are interested in Bandito as a breeding Jack. We may geld him in a few months and let him have a great life as a pet. We have to many Jack's now and need to down size the Jack population. We measured Bandito on 1/31/12. This is one day after the Farrier came and we got 29.5" to 29.75" on his height. He will be 5 years old in March so he is done growing.

 There is not a thing we don't love about this guy. He is perfect!  He is a beautiful red with a short body, little head, perfect bite and conformation. He is remaining quite small but stocky. He is a character as well. We are excited for his first babies in 2012. He has five foals coming. This boy needs to be shown because he is so beautiful. We may give it a shot this next summer but we really aren't show people. Sheryl has dabbled at it a couple of times but needs to dabble much more.

When Mojave was born we felt truely blessed. He is perfect. A tiny but stocky little package that should be in the show ring. We aren't really show people but need to give it a shot so this little guy can be seen. Mojaves dad is a multiple champion and grand champion winner. Mojave will stay very small. We will be anxious for his foals. They will be really tiny.  This is an outstanding Jack!
